Easter What's On Guide for Cheltenham - Week 2
Week 2 of the Easter hols and Cheltenham Rocks has a round-up of the events and activities on this week.
There's a bit of variation here which is a good thing as, after the shenanigans of the last week, you may never want to see another chocolate egg again. There's also some activities which I would definitely consider to be sport (ahem) so don't fret about the extra poundage from the weekend...
Daily Activities
The Lido - Cheltenham's heated outdoor pool is now open for the summer season and there's a sauna there right now too! Find out more
Hands-On Science - Did you know that the Cheltenham Science Centre is now open to the public? £2 per person (under 4s free), for fun, hands-on science experiments. Open Tuesday to Saturday. Find out more
Easter Fun at Primrose Vale - The Easter Trail at Primrose Vale is running right up until the end of the holidays. Cost £5 per participant. Find out more.
Movies for Juniors - Storks - The MFJ film until Thursday 20th is Storks (rated U). From Friday 21st April the MFJ film is Molly Monster. Tickets are £2 from the box office or £2.70 if bought online. Find out more
Easter Egg and Nature Trail at Crickley Hill - Get back to nature with this nature trail-meets-egg-trail, exploring Crickley Hill with a small prize at the end. £2 a trail sheet. Find out more
The Boathouse is now open daily from 11am until 4pm. Pop down for an oarsome time exploring Pittville Park's lower lake. Hire prices start at £4 for 30 minutes. Find out more
At the Boathouse you can also hire the kit for the Pitch & Putt (prices approx £4 for juniors, £6 for adults)
Tuesday 18th April
Portraits in Pastels - Get creative at the Holst Museum creating Portraits in Pastels. Find out more
Storytime with Ariel - Princess Ariel will be telling stories at Smokey Joe's Coffee Bar from 11am. Find out more
Wednesday 19th April
Jet Age Museum - Usually just open Saturday and Sunday, the Jet Age Museum are welcoming visitors this Wednesday too. Free entry. Find out more
Easter Crafts at the Willon Tree Cafe - Little ones can enjoy activities including egg decorating, card making, bonnet decorating, colouring and mask making. £4 per child. Find out more
Museum Explorers - The Wilson invites kids of all ages along to explore the museum to inspire fun and creative activities. £2 per child. Find out more
Thursday 20th April
Kids Cookery Workshop - Suitable for ages 4 - 14. The kids will be making ‘hot cross’ scones and a yummy mini egg rocky road, all boxed and bagged to take home. £22.50 per child. Find out more
FREE Push It Real Good - Meet up with other parents for a refreshing walk around Pittville Park. Find out more
Introduction to Trampolining - One to one coaching on individual trampolines makes this a great class for bouncers wanting to polish their skills. £8 per child. Find out more
