Christmas Events for Families in Cheltenham That You Need to Book
There are some wonderfully festive events happening right here in Cheltenham, however some are approaching sell-outs, with very limited ticket availability. Here's some of the best pre-bookable tinsel-topped family events and activities, wrapped up in a bow, which are sure keep you rockin’ around the clock this Christmas!

Grandma Claus is inviting all the family over to visit her for a load of festive cheer at The Cheltenham Playhouse! There's even talk of Santa stopping by to drop in a few gifts, but have you been naughty or nice? Performances on Saturday 9th December at 11.00am, 2.30pm and 7.00pm. Wow! Wyevale Garden Centre is hosting Breakfast or Tea with Santa, and there's more than milk and cookies on the menu! Choose from a choice of tasty options but best book quick, only 2 breakfast mornings have places left - 5 tickets on Saturday 16th December and 4 tickets left on Monday 18th December - which may get gobbled up fast! 2 places left for tea on Monday 18th so sip those up quick! Christmas On The Farm provides the perfect opportunity to get festive! With a visit to Father Christmas, entertainment from Elf Show Live, animals of the nativity and the opportunity to buy your Christmas tree on site! Special children’s tickets are available which include Farm Park entrance, a special time slot to see Father Christmas and a choice of present from the Toy Room. Showtime Shane’s Christmas Spectacular is a family show with a mix of magic puppets fun and games. Come along to Sacred Hearts Charlton Kings, for some magical merriment - guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit! Performance on Sunday 10th December from 4pm – 6pm, tickets £6. Oh no they didn't! Oh yes they did! The Everyman is putting on a panto performance to rival the West End, with the holiday favourite Dick Whittington and His Cat gracing the stage! Join the duo as they travel from Gloucester to London to find fortune and fame, but will all go as planned? Performances from 24th November, with most days offering two slots to catch the show. Tickets range from £5 for restricted seating to £24, concessions available. Find out more.
Cleeve Common Festive Trail is the perfect opportunity to take in some exercise and fresh air at our beautiful local landmark. Stretch those legs and come along on Wednesday 20th December, from 12pm - 3pm, to follow the festive trail around the common and win a prize, Christmas comes early! Adults go free, with child tickets costing £2.50 per child plus a small booking fee. As with previous events at Cleeve Common, this is expected to sell out. Find out more.

Booking is now open for Santa’s Grotto at House of Fraser Cheltenham! That's right, the man of the hour is here - three cheers to Mr Clause for including our neck of the woods in his scheduled sledge stop / present drop!
Santa's in town from Thursday 30th November right up until 3pm on Christmas Eve, let's hope we don't see him around town last minute shopping! Snowy surroundings, twinkly lights and little helpers make it a magical experience not to be missed.
