On Sunday 14th May Pittville Pump Room is going to be overrun with babies and toddlers (closely followed by their grown ups) for a jam-packed day of entertainment, shopping and freebies.

We're really excited to be part of this huge free event which is bringing together some of the best local retailers and organisations for families with young children.

Let’s face it, a traditional trade show for babies and toddlers would not go down too well with the target audience, with Mini Cheddars making their way into the 'business card draw', fancy tablecloths re-purposed as wet wipes and blueberries being lobbed at yawn-some presenters (although thinking on it, a toddler version of the Apprentice sounds like TV gold).

The Baby and Toddler Show is effectively a family fun day, with relevant organisations and retailers on site to provide class tasters, workshops and product demos to society’s most demanding customers (in between snacks, naps and nose-picking).

The entertainment and activities on the day include:

• A fire engine for you to explore
• Fashion Show
• Live music in the bandstand (as great spot for a picnic lunch)
• Free taster classes from the wonderful Babel Babies, Creation Station, Miniature Music and more
• Lots of stalls with parent and child-focussed products from kids’ fashion and great gifts to gadgets to make life just a tiny bit easier

Oh yes, and there’s a free photobooth. Cheltenham Rocks has teamed up with party supplier extraordinaire Generation Events to bring you a free family photobooth for the day. Get papped with Peppa Pig, Minions, Paw Patrol or – if you’re feeling brave – Marilyn Monroe (note, sharing a photo with Marilyn is not for the faint hearted).
