Cheltenham Spa railway station is located around 20 minutes walk from the centre the town center and offers regular services to and from major cities such as London, Birmingham, Bristol, and Cardiff. The station is operated by Great Western Railway (GWR) and CrossCountry Trains.
By Car
Cheltenham is conveniently located near several major roadways, including the M5 motorway, which runs south of the town. From the M5, you can take the exit for Cheltenham (Junction 10, 11a or 11) and follow signs into the town centre Alternatively, Cheltenham is also accessible via the A40 and A46 roads. There are various parking options available in the town centre, including street parking, car parks, and a new park-and-ride facility being built in 2024.

Cheltenham is served by numerous bus routes connecting it to nearby towns and cities. National Express coaches also operate services to Cheltenham from various locations across the UK. The town's main bus station is located near the town centre, making it easy to access local bus services and onward travel.
