Cosy Club: 28th February 2017
Opening earlier than expected, Cheltenham’s Cosy Club forms part of the new Brewery Quarter development. Opening was originally set for April but the latest buzz is that they’ll be throwing open the doors at the end of February.
The PR bumpf says the style is ‘mansion splendour meets village hall eccentricity’ – Serving up ‘a sense of being somewhere special with a hint of nostalgia’ and the pictures of other Clubs on the company website certainly suggest that the Cheltenham Cosy Club will be original.
As well as a huge standard menu there’s also a pretty vast Gluten Free offering, with options across all sections (Brunch, Tapas, Burgers, Mains, Side and Puds).
Kids’ mains are around £5 and it’s nice to see a reasonably priced ice cream sundae on there for £2.

Drinks-wise, there’s everything you’d usually expect plus some interesting sounding cocktails (Treacle Chase and Sparkling Duchess anyone?).
One particular highlight is the ‘Trolley of Joy’: Unlimited Prosecco and/or Bloody Marys for £10 when you purchase a brunch item on Sundays. which is a relief for afficianados of the hair-of-the-dog approach to hangovers but probably less of a relief to your boss.
