Bike Parks, Climbing Walls and Ninja Warrior Courses – Cheltenham has never been so extreme
Earlier this year thrill-seekers in Cheltenham we’re treated to the opening of Funky Warehouse, a huge venue with trampolines, soft play, foam pits and a ninja warrior course.
Also added to the pot this summer has been the Flyup Bike Park, 100 acres of jumps and trails for those who love being on two wheels. The 417 Flyup Project is located just outside Cheltenham near the Air Balloon pub and costs as little as £7 all day.
And things are set to get even more extreme….
Airborne is a new trampolining venue opening this autumn on the Tewkesbury Road near Kwik Fit and the company are currently recruiting for staff. Follow them on Facebook for updates on the opening and to sign up to the newsletter.
And finally, Funky Warehouse has announced they are expanding and creating a 2500 sq ft specialist bouldering and climbing centre, suitable for all ages, novice to pro.
The centre says ‘There will be many metres of bouldering walls, some auto belay walls, and an overhang wall over a foam pit to practice tricky moves, training rigs, and fitness equipment to build your strength all state of the art.’
Cheltenham adrenaline junkies have never had it so good!
