26th – 28th August: What’s On in Cheltenham This Bank Holiday Weekend 🎉

Get set for an incredible bank holiday weekend packed full of fantastic family events in Cheltenham and the sun has got its hat on for ALL 3 days of the weekend.

So, exactly where will you be soaking up the rays during this totally tropical weekend?

Saturday

The House in the Tree is holding a family fun day in aid of Goals Beyond Grass.  There will be a bouncy castle, craft stalls, petting zoo, birds or prey and of course, lots of yummy food and drink.  Find out more

The Cheltenham Vegan Fair hits Cheltenham Town Hall for the day Saturday with loads of great stalls offering samples.  The kids zone has soft play and vegan biscuit decorating.  Find out more

You’ll find a mini festival at the Bell Inn, Shurdington on Saturday and Sunday with entertainment for all the family and a silent disco for those wanting to party until the small hours.  Find out more

Sunday

The Bell Inn’s mini fest continues through on Sunday with live music from 3 acts plus more family fun for the kids too.  Find out more

The London Inn Clown Day has lots of free entertainment for kids including a magician, circus workshop, balloon modeling and punch & judy show.  Find out more

The Hit and Hope Mini Golf Course will be at Pittville Park on Sunday charging just £2 per player to take on the 9-hole crazy golf course.  Find out more

The Suffolks Sunday Market is on with the usual assortment of street food and stall holders with two extra special additions… The return of ReVamps ‘Fill A Bag For A Fiver’ and the much-anticipated, first-ever Suffolks Dog Show.  Find out more

There’s a family rounders game taking place in King George V playing field near Coronation Square.  Pop along for an afternoon of fun and games and take a picnic to enjoy whilst there.  Find out more

The Royal Charlton Kings are holding their charity summer festival in aid of Sue Ryder this Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday.  There will be live music, kids entertainment and a dog show.  Find out more

Monday

The Winchcombe Country Show is back for another epic year of fundraising and family fun.  Last year they/you raised nearly £10,000 for local causes and this year promises to be even bigger.  Helter skelter, prosecco, morris dancing, entertainment, stalls, fun fun fun.  Find out more

 

Out Of Town Highlights

Tewkesbury General Hospital have their summer fete on Saturday 26th August with stalls, entertainment and food from 1pm – 4pm.

We love our wacky events around here and this Bank Holiday Monday it’s the turn of Bourton on the Water and their annual game of Football in the River.  Apart from some bizarre (and splash-tastic) football in the afternoon, there’s a fete and stalls from around 11am making this a great day out.
